RAC "MiG" has its own well-developed flight and experimental base which provides for a full complex of activities for the safe implementation of all types of flight tests for prototypes and series aircraft.

The own infrastructure in Zhukovsky, Lukhovitsy and other regions allows to conduct full scale flight tests of several types of flight vehicles simultaneously. The Flight Test Center is capable monthly to conduct flight tests for hundreds hours and to process and to analyze completely their results.

The traditions of staff and "school" of the "MiG" test-pilots, as a special direction in the field of flight-test activities, have the universally recognized reputation in Russia. The RAC "MiG" test-pilots and test-engineers have necessary skills and practical experience to perform all kinds and directions of flight researches of any technics - from civil airplanes to space multiuse systems.

The Flight-Test Center is headed by the Hero of Russia, Honoured test-pilot of the Russian Federation Vlasov Pavel Nikolaevich - Deputy General Director for Flight activities - Chief of A.V. Fedotov Flight-Test Center, Head of Flight Department, Senior test-pilot.
