“MiG” Corporation Staff Offers New Solutions for Production Optimization

In training center of aviation plant “Sokol” (affiliated to “MiG” Corporation), the defense of graduates’ final qualification projects within the frame of “Foreman’s school” educational program took place.

Nine (9) projects in the sphere of production development of the enterprise were presented. Specialists from several subdivisions of the plant with different specializations including machining, tooling, mechanical repair and assembly workshops, and department of technical inspection and engineering department took part in their preparation.

Two-stage educational program is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The final stage of education is the implementation of self-developed project and work processes optimization in own subdivision.

Among the successful works it is worth mentioning the proposals of foremen from machining workshop, who presented the project of parts production time optimization.

After the successful completion of the course, the “graduates” will go through the procedure of comprehensive evaluation based on “360 degrees” methodology.

The “Foreman’s school” 2019 educational program was updated and expanded with new educational subjects. In addition to traditional training lessons in the sphere of production planning, work standardization, business communication and staff motivation, lectures and trainings on development of production system were included into the course program.

All educational projects of the Corporation are of long-term perspective, as the training is required not only for some groups, but for the whole staff of the enterprise. The total number of the employees trained in the year 2019 for different trades was more than 4 thousand.
