Maiden flight of the new IL-114-300 passenger aircraft in Zhukovsky

In December 16, 2020 IL-114-300 turboprop aircraft made its first flight at Gromov Flight Center in Zhukovsky, which is to replace in the near future the outdated regional aircraft fleet.

The newest aircraft has the required performance for aircraft operation in various climatic and territorial conditions of Russia.
IL-114-300 is assembled completely from domestic components and equipped with Russian devices. This day the final assembly, according to new production technologies, of the first serial IL-114-300 aircraft is underway at “MiG” Corporation aircraft plant facilities in Lukhovitsy town near Moscow.
Tests included check of the power plant rating, aircraft stability and controllability, its systems operation. Vice prime-minister Yuri Borisov, Head of Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, Head of Rosteс Sergei Chemezov, UAC General Director Yuri Slusar and UAC General designer Sergey Korotkov were at the airfield.
